How it works
Shuffling uses the Fisher-Yates method with your browser's secure random number generator, so every order is equally likely.
Rotate by 1 moves the top line to the bottom. A negative number moves lines from the bottom to the top instead.
Keep first line as header leaves the first line in place, which is useful for CSV data with column names.
You need at least two lines to reorder, not counting the header. The limit is 100,000 lines.
Everything runs in your browser. Your input is not uploaded or stored.
Questions and answers
How do I randomize a list?
Paste one item per line, keep Action on Shuffle randomly and press Run. Press Run again for a different order.
Is the shuffle truly random?
It uses the secure random generator built into your browser with an unbiased method, so no order is favored.
Can I shuffle CSV rows but keep the header?
Yes. Keep first line as header is on by default, so the column names stay at the top.
