How to use the add prefix and suffix to lines
- Paste your lines into the One item per line box.

- Choose a Numbering style, a Start number and whether to skip blank lines.
- Press Run, then Copy result.
How it works
Each line becomes number, then prefix, then the line, then suffix. The prefix and suffix are used exactly as typed, including spaces.
Numbering can look like 1., 1), [1] or a plain 1, and can start at any whole number, including 0 or a negative number.
With Skip blank lines on, blank lines stay blank and do not use up a number.
You need a prefix, a suffix or a numbering style. Prefix and suffix are limited to 1,000 characters each.
Everything runs in your browser. Your input is not uploaded or stored.
