How it works
Unit price equals price divided by quantity after the size is converted to the comparison unit.
Weight units are oz, lb, g and kg. Volume units are fl oz, ml, l, gal, qt and pt in US measure. Count units include count, ct, each and pcs.
All items must be measured the same way, all by weight, all by volume or all by count.
Up to 10 items are allowed and unit prices show up to four decimal places. Prices can start with $, and a $ price may use thousands separators such as $1,000.00. Any other comma between digits is rejected so a number is never split by mistake.

Questions and answers
How do I calculate unit price?
Divide the price by the number of units. A $3.49 package of 24 ounces costs about $0.1454 per ounce.
Can I compare pounds with ounces or kilograms?
Yes. Enter each item in its own unit and the tool converts them to one comparison unit.
Can I compare a liquid with a solid?
No. Fluid ounces measure volume and ounces measure weight, so they cannot be compared without knowing the density.
