How to use the tsv to csv
- Paste tab-separated data, including the header row, into the box.
- Set Spreadsheet formula handling.
- Press Run to convert it.
- Press Copy result, or Download to save the CSV text.
How it works
Cells that contain commas, double quotes or line breaks are wrapped in quotes in the output, and quotes inside them are doubled.
Quoted TSV fields can hold tabs and line breaks, and they come through intact.
The formula option adds an apostrophe before text that begins with =, +, - or @, so a spreadsheet will not run it. Choose Keep cell text exactly to skip this.
The first row is the header. Column names cannot be blank or repeated, and every row needs the same number of fields.
A table can have up to 500 columns and 100,000 rows below the header.
