For companies · Retail and e-commerce data
License your retail and e-commerce records.
Catalogs, orders, returns and stock changes record what your business sells and how purchases unfold. SnowRock helps retailers explore licensing records for research, measurement or AI development.
Discuss retail dataStart with product categories, sales channels, dates and a list of available fields.
The records you create
Products, purchases and what happened after checkout.
Catalog and price history
Product identifiers, categories, descriptions, prices and promotion dates, with changes over time.
Orders, returns and stock
Products within each order, quantities, currencies, cancellations, returns and stock changes linked to products and dates.
Customer questions and resolutions
Product or order questions, staff replies and recorded outcomes, linked only where the agreed scope permits.
Why a buyer may license it
Research demand and test retail systems.
A buyer should specify the product coverage, time period and level of detail its task needs. An agreed license could support:
- Studying sales, returns and stock changes by product, channel and period.
- Testing product matching or demand forecasts against recorded purchases.
Tell SnowRock your product categories, countries, date range and update needs. State whether totals are enough or whether your task requires individual order lines.

Before preparing files
What to discuss with SnowRock.
You do not need to send raw records to begin. Tell us what your company has and which licensing options you would consider.
- Products and history
- Name channels, countries and dates. Explain how product identifiers, variants, promotions and currencies are recorded, including discontinued products.
- Orders and corrections
- Describe whether order lines link to returns, cancellations and stock movements. Distinguish a missing record from zero sales or an out-of-stock period.
- Customers and licensed content
- Name who can approve a license and review customer information, marketplace terms and product text or images supplied by brands. Estimate preparation and ongoing update costs.
Your company agrees the terms
Discuss licensing your retail records.
Your company and the buyer agree which records may be licensed, permitted uses, preparation, delivery and price. Your company delivers the agreed data directly to the buyer. The buyer pays your company for the data license. SnowRock’s buyer-paid fee is agreed separately.
