SnowRock public data-buying requirements, October 2026 Updated October 28, 2026 Canonical page: https://snowrock.com/research/public-data-buying-requirements-2026 Purpose Data owners can compare their records with published data interests, supplier conditions and intake questions from 15 organizations and government programs. Investment firms, analytics companies and AI developers use outside data for analysis and products. NASA and NOAA acquire satellite observations for science and weather forecasting. Method SnowRock reviewed 29 public primary sources on October 28, 2026. Researchers searched for provider invitations, acquisition programs and sourcing requirements, then followed results to official pages, public forms, company reports and government guidance. An entry qualified when a primary source showed external-data acquisition, solicitation or evaluation and supplied a concrete data, delivery, rights or handling criterion. This selected collection is not an exhaustive buyer directory or a representative survey. The table separates published requests, intake choices, product examples, existing licensed inputs and program scopes. Adobe commissions assignments. ElevenLabs accepts individual voice contributions. Balyasny's Antenna invites signal evaluation; purchasing is unconfirmed. Other invitations also make no purchase commitment. Government programs can require a separate solicitation. No marketplace listing establishes eligibility for this collection. History means how far back records reach. Update frequency means how often new records arrive. Record detail means what each item contains. Not disclosed means the reviewed sources did not state that fact. A question about history, updates or coverage does not set a required minimum. Short summaries link to sources; individual briefs, program terms and contracts can add conditions. Eight public questions are paraphrased and attributed. NOAA's question comes from staff guidance, not an observed supplier conversation. The public CSV and JSON contain the same short summaries. JSON preserves field-to-source links and a dated source list. SnowRock compared field values with their cited sources and checked agreement between CSV and JSON. Full research notes and source captures are not redistributed. Limits and updates This snapshot does not establish a current budget, open tender, interest in any particular dataset, price or broker referral fee. Forms were read without submission. Check current eligibility and deadlines at the linked source before preparing a proposal. Update this page by reopening the affected source, revising its mapped fields and changing the review date. No recurring update schedule is promised. Earlier research SnowRock's October 26 supplier-license study examined permitted uses in twelve documents. This collection records acquiring organizations and their public supplier requirements, a different question.
